Discovery Music - Live Gig Review

"The Ruptured Ducklings were our saviours that night and they certainly didn’t disappoint. If the name alone wasn’t enough to convince you, this four-piece band from Aberdeen had a contagious energy on stage and served a really fun dynamic as a band. Delivering punchy beats and a distinct rock vibe to the stage, The Ruptured Ducklings brought a great finale to the night and pleasantly surprised me with singles like “Dark Thoughts”. This particularly stood out to me for the moody but enticing style. They also presented us with their newest single “Help Me”, which features a much quicker and snappy beat that energised the room.

Three Songs And Out - E.P Review

Ending this awesome EP is the perfectly titled "Closure" The lyrics are very relatable, when Jonny sings "This will give me some closure now, I sing this when I'm feeling down", just clicked with me. Probably my favourite track on the EP.

GigRadar - Band of the week

“personal favourite track is the excellent Dark Thoughts, which opens with edgy, yet really cool high-pitched vocals over chugging palm-muted chords. It bursts into a big singalong chorus “We’ve all had dark thoughts, Doesn’t mean we fall apart, No-one could know your pain, No-one could comprehend, We’ve all got friends that would never let us see the end.”
